Our raw milk
Raw milk is the original unprocessed super food, available to you within a few hours of us milking the cows. It is not pasteurised (heat treated) or homogenised (the smashing up of the fats to prevent a layer of cream forming) and so is a very different product to the milk you can buy in a supermarket.
Our milk is fresh and direct from the farm. Nothing is added or taken away and so the milk retains all of its protein, digestive enzymes, vitamins, minerals and beneficial bacteria.
Just pure, creamy, whole milk from healthy, well cared for cows.
How to buy
Our whole raw milk is available from our vending machine at Kingcott Dairy, Staplehurst, TN12 0ES
It is open 8am-7pm Tuesday-Sunday. Please note that we are not open outside of these hours and due to biosecurity reasons, there is no access to our farm buildings. Payment is by contactless card only.
Our branded glass bottles are available to buy or you can bring your own clean, sterilised glass bottle to refill. We do not advise reusing plastic bottles.

Grass fed milk
Our cows are fed in as natural a way as possible, with grass pasture as our main crop.
During spring & summer they graze our clover rich pastures. From November to March we feed home grown conserved grass and maize silage. There will be subtle changes in flavour as the seasons change but it will still be creamy and delicious.
We do not use anything containing GMO (illegal in the UK), Bovaer® hormones, steroids or other additives in our cow food.
Storing your milk
Raw milk has not been pasteurised and should be kept refrigerated below 4 degrees and used within 4 days of purchase.
Raw milk is not homogenised. The cream will rise to the top but just shake the bottle to mix it back in.
If you have any leftover milk, we suggest that you freeze the surplus. Freezing does not affect the milk quality, but do allow room for it to expand.

Is raw milk safe & legal to drink
We are registered with the FSA and they regularly visit our farm to inspect our milking procedures and test the milk for any dangerous bacteria. We also do further independent testing of our raw milk to prove its cleanliness and follow a strict food safety management system to ensure that all of our milk is produced hygienically and safe to drink.
By law, we have to display the following wording for customers to see: “This milk has not been heat treated and may therefore contain organisms harmful to health”.
