Our Free Range Dairy & Red Tractor Assured Milk

All of the milk produced by our gorgeous cows has been RED TRACTOR ASSURED since the scheme was introduced, but we are now assured under the FREE RANGE DAIRY PASTURE PROMISE scheme too.
So, as well as our farm going beyond the standards required by all of the UK dairies in terms of things such as cow comfort and welfare & antibiotic and medicine use to ensure our milk is Red Tractor Assured, we can also meet the grazing requirements of the Free Range Dairy Pasture Promise scheme.
We promise to allow all of our milking girls free access to our fields day and night for at least 6 months a year, generally longer if the weather is favourable in spring or autumn.

All of this gives reassurance to people who buy and eat our cheese that the cows who produce the main part, the milk, are living happy, healthy lives here on dairy farm.

The Vikings have arrived....

The new additions to our milking herd have come direct from Denmark, and are already improving the quality and taste of our milk.
The Danish Red cows have the appearance of a large sturdy Ayrshire dairy cow, but with the added bonus of better milk - great for our cheese and great for our milk!
We're looking forward to the first of their calves due this month - lots of heifers please!

Email Milk ordering....

If you come along to Penshurst or Tonbridge Farmers Market, you can order your milk in advance!

Just email to join our mailing list for each market and we will send a reminder a few days before the market checking your requirements that time. We will use Mailchimp to send the newsletter.

We bring our own pasteurised milk - whole / semi-skimmed / skimmed in 2 or 1 litre bottles as well as our double cream in 250mls pots.

Then we can  make sure we don't disappoint by running out!

Please put in the notes box if it is for Christmas consumption, we will be sending out the postal boxed orders around Dec 15th/16th.

It is most helpful if you could also put an alternative safe place for the courier to leave your parcel im case there is no one around to sign, eg next to garage doors.
